Harmful microorganisms are those which have the potential to cause harm to human beings. There are numerous organisms found in nature that are extremely small and can’t be seen with the naked eyes. Some microorganisms are not harmful to human beings but most of them cause a lot of diseases in humans and other organisms.

Some microorganisms like the protozoan Plasmodium vivax use Anopheles mosquitoes to transmit malaria. Other diseases that are caused by using mosquitoes as transmitters are dengue, encephalitis, yellow fever, etc.
